    Assist in the development, implementation, and sustainment of the Vance AFB GeoBase Program and its Geographic Information System (GIS). Troubleshoot problems associated with GIS and Global Positioning system (GPS) equipment, software, hardware, and data. Conduct GPS and other field surveys to collect GeoBase data. Create and maintain maps using ArcGis software. Operate other GIS and GPS related software and equipment, including handheld and survey-grade GPS, and large-formatted platter and scanner. Working knowledge of ArcGis, AutoCAD, Pathfinder Office, Microsoft Office (word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Access) and Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE) software is required. Keep GeoBase knowledge, GIS, and GPS skills current by attending classes, seminars, and conference. Performs other related duties as assigned.
    Special Notes: Minimum qualifications: HS or Equivalent Degree, Four Year Degree in related field; Alternative qualifications: two year degree in related field and 5 years experience in related field.

    Responsible for maintenance of egress systems. Skilled in egress inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and rigging. Duties are: Inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and rigging of egress systems and removal and replacement of time change components. Removal, rigging and replacement of seats and canopies, egress safety, and accomplishes necessary forms. Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Attendant, Arts and Crafts - part time - posted: 8/5/2008
    Provides instruction & technical guidance to all patrons using the Arts & Crafts Center. Performs maintenance and repairs on machinery. Assists and advises customers concerning shop rules, procedures, and safety policies as required. Monitors and enforces policies. Evaluates customer's capabilities for performing wood working task. Must possess or gain knowledge required to use and train patrons on all equipment in Arts & Crafts Center. Must be proficient on the operation of computers, must be capable of operating computerized engraver, laser engraver and matt cutter. Responsible for cash collecting, inventory control, safeguarding of funds, and resale inventory. Performs other related duties as assigned.
